Research Interests
Spoken dialogue interfaces, dialogue strategies and characteristics
promoting tutorial effectiveness, dialogue system development with
limited data, concept-to-speech generation and automated evaluation of
dialogue systems.
Projects
- The ONR
project on natural language coaching during simulator
practice, for shiphandling with the Navy COVE simulator
- The Army Research Institute project on a battle captain training system, providing the spoken dialogue interface to a simulator developed by Stottler-Henke.
