Registration for ICML-2000

Registrants to ICML, COLT, and UAI may attend, without additional costs, the technical sessions of the other two conferences. You should not register for more than one of the conferences or you will be charged multiple times.

The early registration fee (payment received on or before June 1, 2000) is $175.

The late registration fee (payment received after June 1, 2000) is $250.

Your registration fee covers attendance at the conference(s), a copy of the ICML proceedings, and the receptions on June 29, 30, and July 1. You can order additional copies of the ICML proceedings, as well as copies of COLT and UAI proceedings, on the registration form.

YOU MUST REGISTER ON-LINE AT http://www-csli.stanford.edu/icml2k/register.html, regardless of your method of payment. We prefer you to pay on-line by credit card, but you can write a check in US dollars (drawn on a US bank) payable to Stanford University and send it, along with a hard copy of your registration form, to:

ICML-2000 / CSLI
Computational Learning Laboratory
Ventura Hall, Stanford University
Stanford, California 94305 USA

ICML cannot accept checks from banks outside of the United States, but we can process US traveler's checks and international money orders. Money orders should be in US dollars, through a US bank, and made payable to Stanford University.

Note: We must receive all refund requests in writing by June 10, 2000. We will not grant refunds after this date.

Please pick up your complete registration packet from the ICML registration area on the first day of the conference (June 29, 2000). The location will be announced at a later date and posted on the ICML-2000 web site.

Special Services: Participants needing special arrangements to accommodate a disability or wheelchair access may request assistance by filling out the appropriate fields in the on-line registration form. Such requests should be made by June 1, 2000.

Stanford University is close to both San Francisco (SFO) and San Jose (SJC) airports (approx. 30-min drive from either one). Bay Area, Palo Alto, and Stanford Campus maps are available at http://www.stanford.edu/home/visitors/maps.html.

Driving to the Campus

The following directions are to Campus Drive, the main road on Stanford campus. You can locate specific buildings, including the on-campus housing at Governor's Corner, on the searchable map of the University.

Take either US 101 or Interstate 280, going South from San Francisco or North from San Jose. From 101 take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Road as it enters the University. If you are going to Governor's Corner, turn right onto Campus Drive, and follow Campus Drive to Santa Teresa Street.
