Apprenticeship Learning is a method of improving problem solving
performance by observing and critiquing another problem solver.
It can be used to improve an AI program (machine learning) or a
human problem solver (intelligent tutoring).
This talk describes an expert problem-solving architecture,
called Minerva, which facilitates apprenticeship learning.
Results will be described based on a research prototype in the
domain of ship damage control, which is being developed within
the context of a Stanford-Illinois MURI research grant.
